What are the girls running for?

Some girls run for health, others flee responsibility, the third run after the tram... But  over one hundred ambitious ladies traditionally race for 1 000 euro and many other awards in the first Saturday of August in our see capital Varna.

The High Heels Race, organised by Cosmopolitan magazine, have been the most entertaining summit event in the last 6 years. The rules for participation are simple: all adult ladies who have high heels over 8 cm and not thicker than 2 cm can participate. The racing distance is 40 meters and the winner is chosen by direct eliminations. The fastest lady receives a cheque and all other participants - awards by Cosmopolitan magazine and event partners. The event audience also can play special games as: running on one leg, running in pairs, men start and many others.  

The interest and wide coverage of the event are guarantee by an active communication campaign in the press, radio and the Internet before and after the event.
